I was born in Solo and raised between Jakarta and Bali. At the age of 13 I was sent to Singapore to study at UWC (United World College). Being away from home and in such a cosmopolitan environment helped me to develop a wider view of the world from the beginning of my formation years.

The fact that I come from a family of designers, architects and artist undoubtedly had a profound impact on me. It arguably made me more sensitive in perceiving the beauty in art and design and ignited a passion that still endures. Knowing what path I wanted to follow, I took Art and Design in my GCSE and in 2007 I was fortunate to received a top 10 International GCSE Art award.

In 2008 I moved to Melbourne to pursue my Foundation Studies. A course which encompassed basic studies of industrial, graphic and interior design combined with fine arts.

Upon finishing my Foundation Studies I decided to return to Singapore to do a Fine Arts degree in Lasalle -I’m currently a few months away from graduating. Although studying in Lasalle has encouraged me to be more contemporary, I have always showed a deep appreciation on Cubism in my work.

My other passion is music which lead me to study piano (ABRSM grade five) and cello (Trinity grade five). For three years I was part of an orchestra in Singapore until I moved to Melbourne.
